Hybrid Blackfoot/Laysan
All these chicks I dug up and were still alive. We were able to find and dig up ~100 chicks in three days during high winds unfortunately we were too late for many others.
We were able to capture this bird and cut the net off of it.
It was always funny to watch a curious albatross chasing the ducks.
